BLOODY MARIA VS BLOODY MARY
The Bloody Maria is a festive twist on the classic Bloody Mary. Instead of vodka, this cocktail is made with silver tequila which has a smooth taste balanced with flavors of vanilla, caramel, and smoked oak.
This tequila drink is beautifully elevated with the spicy flavor of Clamato® Tomato Cocktail. This content is intended for readers who are 21 and over.

- Garnish with a rib of celery. If desired, include skewers of olives, cocktail onions, crispy cooked bacon, grilled shrimp and a wedge of lime! Get even more festive: add a sprig of cilantro and a jalapeno.
EXPERT TIPS FOR An AUTHENTIC BLOODY MARIA
- USE FRESH INGREDIENTS: Whenever possible, use freshly-squeezed lime juice and crisp stalks of celery.
- USE CLAMATO: For an authentic Mexican taste, it’s important to use the right ingredients. Don’t cut corners by using standard tomato juice; your taste buds will be disappointed!
- NO HOT SAUCE? NO PROBLEM! In a pinch, you’ll need to get a little creative. For a spicy burn, try horseradish, jalapeno juice, or powdered mustard. Do a few small samplings until you reach the desired taste.
- PRE-MIX MEXICAN COCKTAILS: These tequila mixed drinks taste even better when made in advance. When prepping for large parties, mix the ingredients in a large beverage container a few hours before guests arrive. This will give the flavors a chance to combine and get extra tasty!
