How to Make Basil Pesto
My whole family enjoys anything with pesto on it. Dishes like pasta, pizza, chicken, and bruschetta are even more delightful with the addition of pesto. So today I’ll show you how to make delicious basil pesto quickly and easily.
I’m a lover of beautiful kitchen tools. I have two KitchenAid stand mixers, a very useful Vitamix blender and a host of other goodies. But what I was missing in my life was a high-quality food processor. Last week to celebrate our wedding anniversary, my husband and I took the plunge and purchased a Breville Sous Chef. As I unpacked my newest treasure and made room for it on the kitchen countertop, my imagination started working on overdrive. I began visualizing all of the delicious recipes I’ll now be able to prepare quickly and easily. And the first recipe I prepared in my Breville Sous Chef? Easy homemade pesto made in 5 minutes flat!

These gorgeous kitchen tools are what I used to prepare this yummy pesto recipe. If you cook a lot and have been wanting a new food processor, now’s the time to get one. When you spend less time in the kitchen you have more time to spend with your family. As working women or stay-at-home moms juggling the demands of a busy lifestyle, managing time is always a challenge. We’re all looking for ways to trim our workloads in places that make a real difference. We want to make every moment count and put our families first. I’m always reminding myself that I need to work smarter, not harder. For me this stylish Breville machine is a real timesaver. And although you can easily store it in the pantry, let me tell you, it looks fabulous on a kitchen countertop!
