They’re filled with a generous amount of cheddar cheese, and basted with butter, parsley and a sprinkling of garlic. These light and fluffy Red Lobster biscuits will enhance any dinner menu and are absolutely perfect for the holidays.
From start to finish, Red Lobster cheddar bay biscuits can be made in 25 minutes flat! These are all the ingredients you’ll need to make these scrumptious Red Lobster biscuits from scratch: All-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, sea salt, garlic powder, melted butter, buttermilk and mild or medium cheddar cheese. And for basting your Red Lobster biscuits: melted butter, fresh parsley leaves, and a bit of garlic.
Start by preheating your oven to 450 degrees. Line two cookie sheets with parchment paper. Now here’s how to make these yummy Red Lobster biscuits from scratch: Add the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and garlic to the bowl of a stand mixer. Mix briefly until blended. Yield 12 Biscuits
BISCUIT DOUGH INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 2+1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 stick salted butter (8 tablespoons), melted
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1+1/2 cups mild or medium cheddar cheese, shredded
BISCUIT TOPPING INGREDIENTS
- 2+1/2 tablespoons salted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley leaves, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon powdered garlic
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In the bowl of a stand mixer, add the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder. Mix just briefly until the ingredients are combined. Add in the melted butter and buttermilk. Mix again until all ingredients are incorporated. Add the cheddar cheese. Mix briefly.
- Using a large cookie scoop or a spoon, place big rounded scoopfuls of biscuit dough onto the cookie sheets. There will be enough dough for 12 medium biscuits. Bake for 10 minutes.
- Gently brush the melted butter topping over the warm biscuits as soon as they come out of the oven. Your scrumptious Red Lobster biscuits are ready to serve and enjoy!
