Although you can use standard 8-1/2×11 paper for the printables, if you have hard-stock paper your game board and pieces will be a lot more durable and sturdy. It’s best to print out a game board and pieces for each member of the family so everyone can see what road signs to look for. With child-safe scissors, cut out the little Goldfish cracker DIY stickers. It’s the perfect time to stock up on this wholesome snack solution!

Here’s how to play this fun Road Trip Scavenger Hunt Game

While on the road keep an eye out for the road signs on the game board. When someone spots one of the signs, mark off the road sign with a DIY Goldfish cracker sticker (use the glue stick to create the sticker). The goal is to find all of the road signs before reaching your destination. Note: The driver of the vehicle should never take part in gluing stickers to the game board. Safety first. Always keep your eyes and attention on the road.

These are all the ingredients you’ll need to make this tasty road trip snack mix: Pepperidge Farm® Goldfish® crackers Cheddar, Pepperidge Farm® Goldfish® crackers Colors, mini pretzels, oyster crackers, corn chips, breakfast cereal squares, taco seasoning mix, and a cube of butter.

This 10-minute snack mix recipe is ideal for busy families. In addition to enjoying it on road adventures, it’s also perfect for taking on hikes, for boating excursions, and camping trips.

How to Make Homemade Snack Mix

Making homemade snack mix is quick and easy to do! Start by placing the Goldfish crackers Cheddar, Goldfish crackers Colors, mini pretzels, oyster crackers, corn chips, and breakfast cereal squares in a wide bowl. With clean hands or a spatula, gently mix these ingredients together. (Note: You can scroll down to the recipe card!)

Best Snack Mix Recipe

Place the cube of butter in a small heat-resistant bowl. Melt the butter in the microwave. Add the packet of taco seasoning to the butter and stir well to combine.

Snack Mix for Travel and Adventures

Pull out a large microwavable bowl. With clean hands, transfer 1/6 of the cracker mixture to the large bowl. Drizzle some of the butter/seasoning over the snack mix. Gently toss everything together. Continue this process with the remaining ingredients to ensure the butter/seasoning is evenly spread throughout the snack mix. Microwave the snack mix for 5-6 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes just to prevent the seasoning from clumping onto individual pieces. The snack mix will become nicely crisp!

Spread warm the snack mix in an even layer on a cookie sheet lined with a silicone mat, parchment paper or aluminum foil. Allow the snack mix to cool before transferring to a serving bowl, an airtight container, or portioning out the snack mix into individual snack-size zippered plastic bags.

Instructions
