Yogurt Parfait with Fruit Compote

Berry compote lends the perfect sweetness to your favorite yogurt.


  • 3 ounces fresh raspberries
  • 3 ounces fresh blackberries
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice
  • 1 + 1/2 tablespoons organic honey
  • Vanilla Greek yogurt, desired serving portion
  • Optional Add-Ins & Garnishes: Fresh raspberries, granola, slivered almonds, shredded coconut, chunks of semi-sweet dark baking chocolate



In a small pot over medium heat, add in the fresh fruit and orange juice. With a wooden spoon and/or potato smasher, stir and smash the raspberries and blackberries until they’re completely broken up (about 2-3 minutes). The fruit mixture will start to bubble up while you’re stirring. Lower the heat to medium-low and add in the honey. Mix well until fully incorporated. Continue stirring the mixture for another 4-6 minutes or until the fruit compote has thickened up nicely. Remove the pan from heat, and allow the fruit compote to cool before using it for the yogurt parfait.


In a small clear glass cup, parfait dish or jelly jar, layer the Greek yogurt and fruit compote with desired add-ins and garnishes. Allow your imagination to soar! Enjoy immediately.
